JULY 16, 1918 – DECEMBER 18, 2017
On Monday, December 18, 2017, Marjorie “Beryle” Carlson passed away at the Kimberley Special Care Home at the age of 99 years. Beryle was born on July 16, 1918 in Amelia District, Saskatchewan to William and Erna Herrick.
Beryle was a park attendant at the National Park in Radium, BC as well as a homemaker. Beryle married Fred Carlson on April 14, 1938.
Left to mourn her passing is her son, David Carlson and wife Carol. Also left behind are her three grandsons Brian (Yuko), Brad(Gris) and David (Erin) as well as her great grandchildren, Jakob, Drake, Sila, Tsyoshi; and Taylor; daughters-in-law Kathryn McCourt and Ruth Carlson, nephew Larry Carlson and wife Ruth, niece Doris Welsh and their families. She leaves her brother Bruce. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Fred, son Duane and brothers Ken, Doug, Hazen and sister, Dolores.
A Celebration of Beryle’s life will be held at a later date. If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Beryle’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
