Obituary of Anna Mae Eccleston
Anna Mae Eccleston (Resetz)
March 26, 1931 – December 7, 2025
Anna Mae passed away peacefully in her home on December 7th with her family by her side. Anna Mae was born in Condor, Alberta but later moved to Kimberley with her mom and two sisters. She met George and they were married in 1948. Together they first lived in Upper Camp and then moved out to Summer Sub where they owned Kimberley Cabins campground and Texaco for over 20 years.
Anna Mae was a very independent, strong, forgiving, generous person. When asked about her fondest memories, she had one word “family”. She loved to play cards of any kind; she relaxed with her painting;
and she had cherished memories of her 40 years at the family cabin on Christina Lake.
Anna Mae is survived by her children: Cindy (Ken) Burrows; Bob (Elaine); Ellen (Don) Schacher; Scott (Candice) her 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was
predeceased by her husband George, her daughter Chris, her mother and two sisters.
There will be a private family service at a later date. In lieu of flowers enjoy a game of cards with your family or make a donation to the Red Cross where Anna Mae volunteered for many years.
Thank you to the staff of Joseph Creek where mom lived independently for the last six years and to Dr McIver, Home Support, and Mark Memorial for their care, support, and compassion.
