Divina GUZZI

Divina was the last of the second generation Guzzi family from Fernie, BC. Daughter of Paul and Liberta, she was one of eleven children that grew up working at the Guzzi Grocery. She became a mother in 1950 and from there on her children became her life. Mom loved to cook and bake and when people would visit, they never left hungry. She loved to play bingo, teach her kids and grandkids to crochet and knit, and will be forever remembered by her beautiful Dollies and Afghans.

She is survived by all six of her children: Toni (Tom), Gino, Val (Gino), Gerry (Brenda), Johnny (Trisha), and Domenic (Laurie), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her great-great grandchildren whom she loved all so much.

She is predeceased by her parents, Paul, and Liberta and all ten siblings: Connie, Mike, John, Gig, Dick, Theresa, Carmelina, Ada, Ralph, and Leroy.

Divina’s family would like to send a huge heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Crowsnest pass LTC. You are all incredible at what you do and for loving Divina and caring for her the way you did. From the bottom of our hearts thank you!

Divina wished to have no service. An immediate family gathering will be held on June 30th to Celebrate mom’s birthday. If you knew her you knew how much she loved her Birthday!
