Donna “Lynn” TESSMAN
On Sunday, May 28, 2023, Donna “Lynn” Tessman, amazing wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, passed away peacefully with family by her side. She was born in Calgary, AB on March 1, 1953.
Lynn is survived by her husband of 46 years, Wayne; children Jamie (Lisa) and Derek (Krista); stepchildren Donald and Cheryl, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She will also be missed by many other family members, friends, and coworkers. She was predeceased by her parents Shirley (Pointon) and Donald (Pee-Wee) Peters, and in 1957, her brother Donny.
Lynn and Wayne married in Fernie in 1977. For more than twenty years, Lynn’s friendly face greeted customers as the front desk manager for RCR. When she wasn’t busy working, Lynn enjoyed playing Bingo. In later years, her favorite times were spent visiting with her grandchildren.
The Tessman family would like to thank the amazing staff at the Elk Valley Hospital for their great care given to Lynn.
