Brian loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, gardening and building things.  He had a passion for all sports but especially hockey and baseball.  He and Diane spent many summers back home in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.  Brian was a most beautiful soul and he touched everyone he met.  He was always so kind and caring and never hesitated to put others before himself.  He loved his family – especially his two grandsons and he shared a very special bond with his great grandson, Xavier.  They were definitely best buddies!

Brian leaves behind his grandson Robert (Sarah) Grombach,  great grandson Xavier  and his son-in-law Harry Grombach.    Also left behind are his nieces Shelly Robertson and Deanna Rainey.  Brian was predeceased by his beloved wife Diane, his grandson Russell Grombach, his parents John and Lydia as well as two brothers, Doug and John and one sister Patricia as well as one nephew Allan Merrick  Brian is also survived by many other family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mark Memorial Community Funeral Home on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10:00 am.  If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation, #150 – 686 W. Broadway, Vancouver, BC  V5Z 1G1.
