Obituary of Frank Michael Putnam
Frank Michael Putnam
Frank loved to spend time at the trailer on the river with family and friends where he fly-fished, flew his drone, rode with his dog on his side-by-side, cut firewood, and dreamt up new projects to tackle.
Frank was well known for his work as a computer technician in Cranbrook and the surrounding area. His greatest passions were being with family, especially talking with his grandson Cohen, being with and there for his friends, and supporting the community. He expressed his passion for helping others by joining the Kin Club, the Eagles Club, and the Canadian Royal Legion where he held several volunteer positions. He would help anyone, with anything, anywhere.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Eleine, son Michael (Athena), grandson Cohen, Daughter Meghan, stepson Aaron (Kaianne), mother Kaye, sister Ginny (Ron), his fishing companion (and skidder dog) Phoenix, and two cats, Rayna (The Panther) and Tammie.
He is predeceased by his father Frank.
A Celebration of Frank’s life will take place on Saturday, November 4th at 1:00pm at The Eagles Halls in Cranbrook. His ashes will be scattered at a later date in a private ceremony.
Memorial donations can be made to the Cranbrook Eagles and the Cranbrook Legion in Frank’s memory, to carry on his passion for helping others.
