Fred was predeceased by his father Robert Dell Knight; and the love of his life Tracy Zille and her son Clayton.  Fred held the memories of his dad,Tracy and Clayton close to his heart.

Fred is lovingly remembered by his daughter Kheara Molloy and husband Peter and by his cherished grandchildren Charlie and Amelia who live in Ireland.  He was a proud “Papa” to Charlie and Amelia and always looked forward to hearing updates about what they were up to.  Time with his family was always meaningful and of quality, which Fred held close to his heart.

Fred is survived by his mom Vera; brother Dell and wife Sharon of Cranbrook; sister Mary-Ann Wong and her husband Francis of Palm Desert and Tracy’s daughters Amanda and Jayd and their families. He also leaves behind Auntie Anna-Mae Gartside and Auntie Audrey Rogers along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.

Fred had a deep love for the outdoors.  He was an avid skier, hiker, fisherman and camper.  He shared a special bond with his dog Jewel, who was his loyal companion on many of these adventures.  Above all, Fred treasured time with his family and was especially close to his brother Dell. They were often found enjoying the outdoor adventures and time at the lake together.

Fred will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.  “May he rest in peace”
