It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guy “Frenchie” Bremault, who left us peacefully on November 4, 2025, in the comforting presence of his loved ones.
Frenchie was born in Rainy River, Ontario, and his life was marked by warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and friends. Throughout his years, he built a legacy of compassion, generosity, and dedication to those around him.
Frenchie is survived by his devoted wife, Christine, and his beloved daughter, Charlene (Brent). He was a cherished grandfather to Ethan and Andrea, who brought him immense joy and pride. Frenchie’s memory will also be carried by his brothers: Roger Bremault (Fernie), Normand Bremault (Fernie), and Ronald Bremault (Fernie), as well as his sisters: Alice Archer (Regina) and Louise Porier (Fernie).
He was predeceased by his parents, Dennis Bremault and Orize (née Jolicoeur) Bremault, whose love and guidance shaped the man he became.
Frenchie will be remembered as a kind and loving husband and father, whose gentle nature touched everyone he met. His thoughtfulness, sense of humour, and ability to listen made him a treasured friend and confidant. His presence brought comfort and joy, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
As we mourn Frenchie’s passing, we celebrate his life, a life lived with grace, compassion, and love. His memory will be forever cherished by family, friends, and the community. We extend our deepest condolences to all who are grieving.
