Obituary of Iris Warner
Iris WARNER
Iris found her true love, Calvin, and after a short courtship they were married July 24, 1951. Together they built a remarkable legacy, celebrating sixty-two wonderful years of marriage.
Iris was everyone’s favorite Avon lady, selling Avon for over 30 years. On delivery day, she would have Calvin chauffeur her door to door! She cleaned houses and took extraordinary pride in making sure everything was perfect. Friday nights you would find her and Calvin out for supper with friends. Always beautifully dressed, Iris loved purple and had quite the shoe collection! She enjoyed tending to her meticulous gardens, making banana bread for loved ones, and of course, her coffee and baileys. Iris’s greatest love was her family, and she would proudly show off pictures at any opportunity.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Wayne (Deborah) Warner, Dave (Deb) Warner, and Karren (Terry) Bax; six grandchildren: Terry Lynn Moon, Rob (Tiffany) Warner, Suzi (Chad) Zimmerman, Jamie (Greg) Inman, Lindsay Warner (Jesse), and Cody Warner; eleven great-grandchildren: Mac and Reilley Moon, Cole, Emerson, and Kinsley Zimmerman, Nigel and Rylee Warner, Dylan and Aspen Siska, Caven and Alva Inman; her sister Carol (Keith) Owen, and brother-in-law Don Warner along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will mourn her loss.
Gone before her were her loving husband Calvin, sister Shirley Warner, daughter-in-law Ann Warner, and nephew Brad Owen.
Iris will be remembered for her kindness, her love of everything purple, her flawless fashion, and the love for her grandkids. While we deeply mourn her passing, her legacy of love and dedication will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Please, if you feel so inclined, wear something purple to the service.
