Obituary of Joyce Louise Lewis
Joyce Louise Lewis
Joyce was born on March 3, 1953, in Regina, Saskatchewan, to her loving parents, Mary and Norm Hubick. She grew up surrounded by family and carried those strong family values with her throughout her life.
On October 1, 1977, Joyce married the love of her life, Ronald Stanley Lewis, in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Together they built a life grounded in love, dedication, and family. Ronald predeceased her, as did her parents.
Joyce will be deeply missed by her two sons, Stuart (Melinda) and Darren (Amanda), and by her cherished grandchildren: Calista, Brenen, Jennifer, and Austin, who brought her immense joy and pride. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother Ken (Carol), and their children Mark and Erin; and her sister Shirley (Jim), and their children Janet, Joanne, and Karen.
Joyce was a devoted wife and mother whose warmth and care shaped the lives of those around her. She had a passion for reading, games, and gardening, and possessed a sharp mind that delighted in solving all kinds of problems and puzzles, including anagrams, crosswords, and logic challenges. She was also highly skilled in many handicrafts, sharing her creativity and talents generously with family and friends.
Above all, Joyce treasured time spent with her sons and their family, who were the light of her life.
In keeping with Joyce’s wishes, no funeral service or celebration of life will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those who wish may make a donation in her memory to the charity of their choice.
She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed.
