It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kevin James Pearson on March 5, 2026.

Kevin was born on July 26, 1978, in Kimberley, BC. to Lorraine and Gary Pearson.

He grew up in Marysville where he made many friendships and fond memories. Kevin was known for his kind, quiet and caring nature. He had many talents and interests, with a special gift for music. He was a dedicated Grateful Dead fan and had a love for the guitar, which was evident to anyone who heard him play. Kevin also enjoyed following various sports, a hobby that allowed him to connect with family and friends over shared interests.

Over the years Kevin worked in various roles before finding his place with Paladin Security. His colleagues remember him as a diligent and reliable team member, whose kind and gentle nature brought a sense of calm to those around him.

A true conversationalist, Kevin had a knack for engaging in captivating discussions, sharing his vast knowledge on a wide range of topics. His friends and family often marveled at his ability to make anyone feel heard and valued, as he shared his insights with a quiet wisdom that left a lasting impression.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Lorraine, his sister, Darla (Mike) and nephews Justin and Isaac. Kevin also leaves behind a close-knit extended family and friends. Kevin was predeceased by his father, Gary.

Kevin was a gentle soul with a kind heart that touched all that knew him. We will miss you.
