Maria Anne DeKelver

Maria passed away peacefully, held and surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Maria loved adventure. Whether backroads and creek sides, or miles of open road on her motorcycle. She loved to explore, and learn, and share knowledge. She was strong and determined, and a fierce advocate for causes she believed in.

Maria loved deeply and completely. Her two grandsons, Victor and Isaac, were the light of her life and she loved them with a big love that fills the sky. She was so proud of her daughter, Paulette, in so many ways. She cherished her son-in-law, Jeff.

Maria had a capacity to connect and to laugh. She loved to share a good joke or a funny story. She built relationships over decades with her sisters and brother, nieces and nephews, close at hand and far away. She had many, many good friends. She cared deeply and worked hard for those she loved.

A gathering will be held at a future date on Trophy Mountains, Clearwater BC.
