Obituary of Pearl Gail Smedstad
Pearl Gail Smedstad
For most of her career Pearl worked as a salesperson and then supervisor at the Hudson Bay Company. Pearl enjoyed water skiing in the summer, curling in the winter and later in life she took up the game of golf. She loved the outdoors and was an extremely social person.
Pearl is survived by her long-time partner Tony Penitch who she shared her life with for more than thirty years, brothers Ron (Jeanette) Patton and Ken (Bev) Patton, son Micheal (Diana) Smedstad and their families Benjamin and Jessie, son Mark (Suzzie) Smedstad, Ocea and Jake, Hannah, Heather, three great grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her parents.
Pearl passed away at the F.W. Green Memorial Home where she was thoughtfully cared for by all the staff. She was also well cared for during her time at the Ivy House in Invermere. There will not be a service in honour of her request.
We will miss and think of you every day; trying to live the life you would wish for us – full of laughter and love.
