Bob was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia on May 19, 1944 to Laura and Charles Sheppard. He grew up and received his education in Moose Jaw, SK before joining the Royal Canadian Navy in Churchill, MB at an early age. Following his discharge from the Navy he worked at various jobs across Canada before retiring in Cranbrook, BC. He loved animals, working with Clysdale horses and attending many shows, but especially loved his dogs who were with him when he passed away. Christmas was always special to him and he enjoyed many holidays with his family in Saskatoon, SK.

He was predeceased by his parents Laura and Charles Sheppard.

Left behind to mourn and to dearly miss him are his spouse of 28.5 years Bonnie Lennox of Cranbrook, BC, his two step-sons Timothy and Stephen (Genevieve) Wellsby, two grandchildren Roddin and Lyla, his sister Cheryl (Winston)Jordan of Rimby, AB; brothers Gordon(Mary) of Port Hawkesbury, NS; Doug (Lesley) of Brandon, MB; and Don(Sylvia) of Saskatoon, SK., numerous cousins and many friends that had the pleasure of knowing him.

It was Bob’s wish to be cremated with no formal service. His cremains will be scattered on the old family farm in SK. Rest in Peace Skip.
