Ruth QIODRAVU

She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years Solomoni Qiodravu in 2015 and her son Solo in 2018.

Ruth is survived by her children Martha, Angela (Tevita) Cokocokovata, and Esther (Sitiveni) Nacoko; her grandchildren Perry, Tyson, Esita, Solo, Eva and Samu; sisters Ruci (Viliame) Gavoka, and Sera Peters, brothers Mosese (Wati) Ratudradra, Voniani (Monica) Ratudradra, and Joeli Ratuduradra, and will be missed by many other relatives and friends.

Ruth and Solo married in Fiji Islands in 1970.  Ruth and her two oldest children joined Solo and settled in Canada in 1977. They had two more children in 1979 and 1980. When her children became of school age, Ruth worked as a custodian for the school district. She was a lifelong active member of her church and was involved in women and children ministries. Ruth loved travelling to different countries. Her greatest pleasure was received when spending time with her family. Ruth’s legacy will live on through the lives of people she has touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Elkford Alliance Church on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM.

Ruth’s family would like to thank all family and friends near and far for their love, support, and prayers.
