Teri was born August 17, 1963 in Fort Macleod, Alberta to Geri and Brian Huisman. Teri was a vibrant, determined and strong willed being, she loved dearly her family, friends and many animals. She was a giving a generous soul always caring for others a treating anyone that came her way with love and respect. Teri was a proud and loving mother to her children and a loving partner to Marty.

Teri is survived by her partner Martin Griffen, children Mercedes and Reese, her “mother-like” aunt Joan, as well as numerous cousins.

She is predeceased by her son Jason, parents Geri and Brian Huisman.

Teri’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses at the EKRH ambulatory care who took care of her every Wednesday and the Oncology department.

A Celebration of Life for Teri will take place at a later date.
