Terrence “Terry” Newton Dean passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 7, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer, at the age of 69.

He is survived by his mother Joyce, his son Paul (Carrie-Anne), his daughter Christie (Tim), his grandson Austin, his granddaughters Veronica and Jeanette, his brother Keith (Gail), his nephew Nikolaus (Karly), and his niece Nolla (Theo). He is predeceased by his partner Veronica, and his father Newton.

Born April 26th, 1956, in Cranbrook, BC, Terry worked in the Lumber Industry and loved woodworking, fishing, dogs and anything outdoors. Living almost his entire life in Cranbrook, he was known and loved by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held for friends and family August 16th, 2025, at 12:00pm at the Scandinavians Of East Kootenay Viking Lodge 4th Ave S Cranbrook, BC V1C 4X3.
