Tommy ROTHEL

Tommy was born on March 5th, 1942, in the Elk Valley where he continued to live his life on his own terms. He dabbled in many occupations including farming and owning his own businesses; Rothel’s Trucking and ET Mini Storage.

Tommy’s favorite pastime was going to the Crowsnest Pass and trying his luck at the slot machines. He always enjoyed his meals at A&W for Breakfast and The Causeway Bay for supper. Tommy spoke highly of the staff as they treated him well.

At times Tommy was stubborn in his ways, but deep down he had a soft spot that was shared with those who touched his heart.

Tommy was predeceased by his wife, Erna; brother, Dennis, and nephew, Warren Rothel.

He is survived by three sisters: Janet, Francis, and Robina (Chris), as well as many nieces and nephews.

The Rothel family would like to thank Dr. Bently and his caregivers: Stacy, Megan, Malorie, Carly Terry, and the home care staff who helped make his final days peaceful.
