Obituary of Warren Edward Jacober

Warren Edward Jacober

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Warren Edward Jacober on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

Warren was predeceased by his wife, Tracy (nee McClure), parents Edna and Edwin Jacober, step-father Ernest Stern, and brother Barry Jacober.

He is survived by his sons, Jeff and his wife Amy Jacober, and Kyle and his wife Claudine Jacober; his step-son Michael Kosolofski; his step-daughters Brenda and her husband Rob McDonnell, and Laura Keller; his grandchildren Riley McDonnell, Jenna and her husband Luke Leontowich, Carter, Beckett, Ember and Eden Jacober; as well as his brother Doug and his wife Lori Jacober, and his nieces Kristen and her husband Kyle Turner, and Allison Jacober and her daughter Jasmine Jacober.

Warren was born on January 13, 1950 in Medicine Hat and raised in Schuler Alberta. He later graduated from Medicine Hat High School. Warren and former spouse Alexis Anderson (nee Pudwell) had two sons together (Jeff and Kyle). Warren became a pipefitter and was a member of the United Association, Local Union 496 for over 35 years. In 1987, Warren met Tracy McClure and Tracy’s three children joined the family (Michael, Brenda and Laura). In 1993, Warren and Tracy realized their dream and bought a property near Elko BC and the Koocanusa lake. They were married on the property in 1996 and enjoyed many happy years there. After Tracy passed away in 2012, the place continued to hold a special place in Warren’s heart, a testament to the love and happiness shared there. Warren was quiet and sentimental, but he also knew how to have a good time with his many friends and family, especially in his younger years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR on Sunday and loved a good western. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
