Obituary of William BROCK
William BROCK
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of sixty-nine years, May Brock, and is lovingly remembered by his sons, Mike (Carol), and Martin (Marilyn); grandchildren: Nicole, Michael, Christian, and Peter; great-grandchildren: Rumi, Leela, and Ashton. He also leaves behind his dear sister, Joan and brother, John.
Born in London, England, William met the love of his life there before serving proudly in the Royal Air Force. After his service, he worked alongside his father as a painter and decorator, and later as a ticket agent for Air India. In 1969, William made the bold decision to immigrate to Canada with his family, joining his sister Joan. A few years later, they proudly became Canadian citizens.
In Canada, William held several meaningful roles — he worked as an Inflight Supervisor for Pacific Western Airlines, opened a record store with his son, and ultimately served with Canada Customs, retiring as a Chief of Customs.
William had a special connection to nature and a legendary green thumb. He could turn a single leaf into a flourishing tree, and he was always the go-to person for plant advice and gardening wisdom.
