It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Willis “Bill” Keith Baldwin on November 21, 2025 in Cranbrook, BC. Born April 14, 1947, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, to Willis and Evelyn Baldwin, Bill lived a full and colourful life shaped by his generous spirit and endless curiosity.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Bill was never happier than when he was helping someone or “puttering” in his shop. Whether he was smelting aluminum to cast parts for his latest invention or heading to the rifle range to scare the paper targets, Bill approached everything with humour, skill, and a twinkle in his eye.

Cherished and deeply missed, Bill leaves behind his loving wife April; his sons Keith (Cara), Dustin (Jessica), Chad (Irish), and Colin; his adored grandchildren Taryn, Gabriel, Joshua, Samantha, and Hannah; as well, his father Keith, brothers David and Dale, and sister Nancy. He was predeceased by his mother, Evelyn Baldwin.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held in Baldwins Mills, Quebec, in July 2026.

Rest easy, Bill. The shop lights will burn a little dimmer without you.
