Obituary for Robert William Brougham
BROUGHAM, ROBERT WILLIAM
FEBRUARY 25, 1930 – MARCH 11, 2018
With a sense of loss and sadness, we announce that our husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa has passed away.
Robert (Bob) Brougham was born February 25, 1930 in Montreal, Quebec; a child of the Great Depression.
Dad was a social butterfly and made friends where ever he went. Dad loved to fish, be outdoors, spend time conversing, telling a joke, sometimes even a “dirty” one.
Life was an adventure and was meant to be lived. He is survived by the love of his life, Pearl, whom he met in 1970 in Calgary, AB. They have been together since and married for 46 years. As mom says, “He was a great husband”! He is survived by his wife Pearl, daughter Nancy, son Raymond, Sharon (Jack), Lynn, Greg (Val), John (June) and his daughters in law, Barb and Cindy, his sisters Maureen and Shirley, along with his nieces and nephews. He was a proud grandpa of 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his sons, Roy, Terry, Bruce and his brother Walter.
An informal viewing with coffee served will commence at 2:00 PM on Thursday March 15th,
Mark Memorial 2024 Industrial Road #2, Cranbrook.
A memorial will be planned for sometime in the summer.
