VALERIE JEAN WILLMAN “FLUFFY”
JANUARY 15, 1955 – JANUARY 22, 2018

Valerie was born to her parents, Robert John Bullen and Rose Marion Bullen, in Victoria, BC on January 15, 1955. Valerie married Wayne John Willman on April 15, 1977 then parted ways for about 20 years. Val moved from Victoria to Cranbrook in 1993. Wayne later moved from Victoria to Cranbrook where they re-connected in 2010. Val always said she was the happiest she had ever been in her life when she re-connected with her true love, Wayne. She enjoyed going into “God’s country” with her mountain man Wayne. Val was a kind soul and loved her “angels”. She always had a great sense of humour and still maintained that sense of humour with the nurses and care aides up to her final days. She loved writing in her “good books” nightly along candlelight with her glass of wine.

Val passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side after battling ALS for over a year. Heaven gained an angel that day. She will be missed by all, but is finally at peace and no longer suffering. Val is survived by her true love, her first husband, Wayne; children – Melissa, Cory (Jeanie); grandchildren – Addyson, Ki, Ellie, and many other relatives and friends. Val was predeceased by her father Robert “Popsie”, her mother Rose, and her brother Glenn “Sac”.

A celebration of life will be held in July 2018 on Vancouver Island.
