It is with great sorrow that the family of Victoria MacKinnon announces her passing on Saturday, August 19, 2017 in Cranbrook.

Tory was born on August 16, 1914 in Nelson, BC. She moved to Kimberley in the early 1950’s. Tory was a teacher, a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed volunteering with the Hospital Auxiliary and Meals On Wheels.

Left to mourn Tory’s passing are her children Joan (Edward) Brown, Jack (Carroll) MacKinnon, Lynda (Brian) Lange, Lorne (Leora) MacKinnon, Isa (James) Reddington, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Tory was predeceased by her husband Angus in 1981 and her parents John and Giza Robinson.

A memorial service for Tory will be held at the Kimberley United Church on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Tory will be interred in the Nelson Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Tory may do so to the Kimberley Untied Church or the Eastern Star.
