Edmonton’s 100 Mile House delivered a richly textured performance at Fort Steele Heritage Town’s Wild Horse Theatre July 5.

Featuring husband and wife duo Peter Stone and Denise MacKay, and multi-instrumentalist Scott Zubot, 100 Mile House’s sound blended perfectly with the grand ole theatre.

Outside the theatre, with Fort Steele volunteers and staff wandering around in Victorian garb, the sound of the trio’ roots music drifting into the humid summer night made for a sweet heritage moment.
