Ben Heppner appearing at Key City Theatre

World renowned tenor Ben Heppner performs at the Key City Theatre May 18, at 7:30 p.m.

heppner_ben_489_retBen Heppner is recognized worldwide as the finest dramatic tenor before the public today. He excels in the most challenging roles, from Wagner’s Tristan and Lohengrin to Verdi’s Otello and Berlioz’ Aeneas. He is acclaimed in music capitals around the world for his beautiful voice, intelligent musicianship and sparkling dramatic sense.

Currently touring a new recital program with John Hess, Ben will be gracing the stage of small theatres across the Prairies and Western Canada. Heppner was born in Murrayville, British Columbia, and lived in Dawson Creek.

He began his musical studies at the University of British Columbia and first attracted national attention when he won the CBC Talent Festival in 1979. Since then, he has gone on to become one of the most prominent dramatic tenor’s active today.

 This intimate evening with Ben Heppner is a once in a lifetime event!
