Centre 64 issues call for interested artists

Kootenay artists in the disciplines of ceramics, sculpture, glass, jewellery, and textiles who would like to exhibit in the Gallery at Centre 64 this November are invited to enter an open, non-themed exhibition of works in these media which will run from November 1 to 26. Entry forms may be obtained physically or electronically from Centre 64 by contacting the Centre administrator, Christine Besold at 250-427-4919 or by email to [email protected]. While an entry deadline has not yet been set, it would be appreciated if artists considering submitting work to this show contact Christine as soon as possible.

If you would like to enter this show but are not a member of the Kimberley Arts Council a modest exhibition fee will be requested. I think it is $10, regardless of how many pieces you submit. Paid up KAC members are not required to pay the exhibition fee. (The indivisual membership fee is $20 which covers the calendar year).

In the hope that lots of you will enter a piece or three or four in the show, I am.

Mike Redfern, on behalf of the KAC – C64 Visual Arts Programs Committee
