Here’s what is happening at the Fernie Heritage Library during the month of December.
Storytime (ages 3-5 years)
Tuesdays 11:15 a.m.-noon or Fridays 2-2:45 p.m.
Stories, singing and activities for preschoolers and their families.
Toddlertime (ages 0-2 years)
Wednesday 11:15 a.m. at the library
Singing, simple stories and finger plays for babies and their families.
Storytime Plaid Christmas Party for 0-5 year olds.
Wednesday December 17, 11:15 a.m.-12 p.m. Carols, Christmas stories, a craft and treats for you and your children.
Christmas Activities for Grades 1-6 (December 2-19)
Tuesdays 3:30-4:45 p.m.: Lego Club (Grades 1+) FULL
Tuesdays 3:30-4:30 p.m.: Christmas Crafts for 5/6 year olds.
Child must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
Wednesdays 3:30-4:45 p.m.: Secret Santa:
We will be making gifts for friends and family..shhhh, it’s a surprise! (Grades 4+)
Thursdays 3:30-4:45 p.m.: Let it Shine:
We will be creating holiday decorations for the library and to bring home (Grades 2+)
Fridays 12:15-1:30 p.m. Christmas Crafts and Baking (Grades 2+)
SKIP (Seniors and Kids Intergenerational Programs)
December 6, 6:30-7:30 p.m.: Christmas Card Making:
For preschoolers to Seniors, enjoy some craft time together!
December 10, 2-2:45 p.m. Senior Story time at Rocky Mountain Village.
Songs and stories for old and young. All are Welcome.
December 17, 1:30-2:30 p.m.: Senior Story time at Tom Uphill Manor.
Songs and stories for old and young. All are Welcome.
December 20: Community Christmas Celebration, 2-4 p.m.
Join us for an afternoon of mingling and catching up with your neighbours. Crafts, treats, stories and carols with a string band. Bring your family and friends!
