On Thursday, May 24 at 7 p.m., join the Fernie & District Arts Council (FDAC) for its annual general meeting.

This is your chance to become actively involved on the FDAC board of directors as we have open positions we are looking for volunteers to fill. Light refreshments will be provided during this event where we will review and vote on proposed bylaw changes recommended by the current FDAC Board and get the full scoop on what the coming year will bring to the community. We encourage you to review the potential bylaw changes prior to the meeting. You can find the proposed updates if you click HERE. We have also sent an email to all of our members with the changes but you can also stop by our office (Station Square, 601 1st Ave.) where we have the document on display on the Administrator’s office door.
Remember, only Arts Station members have the ability to vote so at 6:30 p.m., the doors will open and anyone looking to obtain or renew their membership can do so before the meeting begins. Also, you can always come in and visit us at our office between now and then to renew your membership should wish to do it before the AGM.
