Fishtank Ensemble from Los Angeles, California capped off Kimberley’s First Saturday Festival on August 3. The concert was free with admission a requested donation for the food bank.

The world music quartet performed an enormous variety of songs, from classical to rock n roll, east coast to eastern European to Greek, Flamenco and jazz. About 240 people attended the outdoor concert, held in the open lot adjacent to Centre 64.

First Saturday also included a Plein Air Paint Out painting/arts event in the Platzl, with artists creating works in the busy pedestrian/shopping thoroughfare.
