GO Africa presenting Son of Africville at Centre 64
GO Africa is pleased to present Justin Carter’s one man monologue play: Son of Africville on May 4 and May 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Centre 64 in Kimberley.
Tickets are $15 and 50% of the proceeds go to GO Africa (a non-profit initiative providing funding for girls in Africa to earn a high school education). Tickets are available at the College of the Rockies Bookstore, Lotus Books on 10th Ave in Cranbrook and Centre 64 in Kimberley at 64 Deer Park Ave.
As an added bonus the Unified Noise Choir will be performing prior to the play on Friday, and a draw, for all ticket holders from both nights, for a painting donated by Janice Edwards will take place after the play on May 5.
The GO Africa committee and supporters will be offering a ‘by donation’ dessert and coffee bar following the play to give theatre goers a chance to meet Justin (pictured above) and visit with friends.
