Juno nominee opens The Pavilion
St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino hosted Juno Award nominee and Maple Blues Award winner Suzie Vinnick February 29 at The Pavilion.
Vinnick is the first performer in a series of live shows planned for beautiful new the St. Eugene venue.
The 15th Annual Maple Blues Awards named Suzie Vinnick ‘Songwriter of the Year’ and ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ on January 16 and the Saskatoon girl turned Toronto performer showed why.
Vinnick has three critically-acclaimed albums under her belt, including one that earned her a 2009 Juno nomination. Her latest record, ‘Me ‘n’ Mabel’ is a collection of 14 songs that she has written and performed in solo shows over the years.
Her commanding voice with a huge range has received rave reviews from the likes of Gordon Lightfoot to Stuart McLean from CBC Radio.
The 7,200 square feet Pavilion offers an airy atmosphere and the option of lounge-style seating to ensure a spectacular listening experience. The series of events being showcased in the Pavilion at St. Eugene will focus on live music but will also include planned performances of theatre, comedy and dance.
