East Kootenay News Online Weekly (e-KNOW) is continuing with its subscription campaign, which could win you your choice of one of a dozen beautiful hand-painted black and white photographs by Cranbrook artist Carrie Schafer and Through My Eyes Photography.

Through My Eyes Photography is working in partnership with Cranbrook company Prevea Art & Imports to give you a chance to win a 16×20 inch canvas handpainted photo valued at $300- $400 depending on which one you choose. Prevea is graciously printing the selected piece on canvas.

Rob and Tracey Tullis created Prevea Original Art & Imports in 2005.

“The business was inspired by our love of travel,” said Rob, noting that his passion for art and photography and Tracey’s love for shopping and working retail made for the perfect match. Prevea Original Art & Imports is a home business that travels to farmers’ markets and community fairs and festivals throughout the East Kootenay and southern Alberta.

The business sells beautiful art and photography produced by Rob and unique quality items they find on their travels that they believe will appeal to the Canadian market.

Prevea’s inventory is always changing and evolving which keeps things fresh and exciting for their regular customers. The business continued to grow in 2011 and has spun off a new business, Prevea Print & Design.

Prevea Print & Design just made sense as Robs’ talent as an artist and knowledge as a creator of art reached such a professional level.

Prevea Print & Design produces large format fine art prints as well as photodesign and artistic graphic design work by Rob. All work is custom and of fine quality for business or personal. Prevea Original Art & Imports operates as a somewhat seasonal business as farmers markets and community fairs primarily operate late spring through early autumn and then Christmas fairs in November and December, although they can be found on Facebook, @preveaart on Twitter and eBay year-round.
Rob and Tracey and the newest edition to the family, Makai (pictured above), are planning another trip, this time to Ecuador and Colombia to find some great new merchandise for our customers.
