The Fernie & District Arts Council / The Arts Station is pleased to announce that after an exhaustive cross-Canada search and many interviews, the Arts Station Board is pleased to welcome Courtney Baker as The Arts Station Administrator.

Courtney began working as Administrative Assistant in 2010 and early on proved herself to be a valuable asset to the organization. In May, Courtney stepped in as acting Administrator. She took on the many roles of the job with confidence.

In university, Courtney showed a strong interest in how community organizations function and graduated with a double major in sociology and political science, with a minor in English literature. Her knowledge and interests are wide and varied, and the Board believes this to be an asset as it moves forward.
