New exhibit secured to start season

Columbia Valley Arts Council has uncovered a new exhibit to launch its opening season art show April 3 – 22 at Pynelogs Cultural Centre in Invermere.

‘Counting Crows’ will replace Art From the Heart, which had to be cancelled earlier this winter.

Please plan on visiting the Pynelogs Art Gallery to view this amazing and innovative art show.

Counting Crows features a group of four artists who find these big black birds fascinating and have come together to create a series of paintings which are inspired by this avian muse. Through their exploration, research and observation, they will present their unique vision and personal response to Corax brachyrhychos, the American crow.

Please plan on attending the Artist Closing Event on Saturday April 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. Live entertainment and a cash bar will also be featured.

Pynelogs Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Above image is not part of the exhibit. It is for illustrative purposes only to showcase how captivating crows/ravens are when it comes to art.
