Rockies Film Festival March 5 – 7

The Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary Rockies Film Festival lineup has been confirmed! It should be a great weekend of films, with eight critically acclaimed features on the slate.

The first day of the festival, Thursday, March 5, is being held at Key City Theatre.

FilmFestRAThings get rolling with a 7 p.m. with a showing of October Gale followed by an 8:30 p.m. Wine & Cheese Reception.

At 9 p.m. will be a showing of Big News from Grand Rock.

Friday and Saturday’s films are being shown at Columbia Theatre in Tamarack Mall.

Friday, March 6       

7 p.m. – Red Army

9 p.m. – Still Alice

Saturday, March 7  

FilmFest2d1 p.m. – Rosewater

3 p.m. – Mr. Turner

7 p.m. – 2 Days One Night

9 p.m. – Glen Campbell – I’ll Be Me

Tickets for the festival will go on sale at Lotus Books in the afternoon of February 2.

Those folks holding Gold and Silver passes must exchange their passes for actual movie tickets before the festival starts. Tickets sell quickly for this festival, so don’t delay!

A quick reminder that our last film for the monthly film series, Sunshine on Leith, will be screened on February 5, at the Columbia Theatre.  Come out and enjoy this movie – it is sure to be fun and have you tapping your toes!
