Second Hunting film Tour to play Cranbrook
The Back Country Hunters and Anglers (B.C. Chapter) are pleased to announce that the second annual North American Hunting Film tour will play Key City Theatre in Cranbrook on Saturday, Feb 27.
The special film night is a fundraiser for the non-profit group, which was formed in February of 2014. The mandate of the B.C. Chapter is to utilize the moral structure and strong conservation message of the parent organization, to actively represent conservation and wild land issues. The B.C. Chapter is 100% self funding and is directly responsible to it’s B.C. membership.
The Hunting Film Festival will get underway at 7 p.m. but the fun evening will start at 5:30 p.m., with a social in the lobby of the theatre, where there will be door prizes, and raffle items for hunters to take advantage of.
Last year’s film tour was held in May and was a huge success despite the great weather. Organizers though decided to move the event to the winter months this year to give even more people a chance to attend this popular event.
The Backcountry Hunters and Anglers have also indicated that the hunting film festival on Feb. 27 at the Key City Theatre in Cranbrook, is for all ages of hunters, and will be for the entire family to enjoy, regardless of whether you are a member of the organization or not.
