Senna next in the Rockies Film Series

Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary is extremely pleased to advise that our next film in the 2011-2012 Rockies Film Series is the award winning documentary film Senna. Thanks to Alpine Toyota for sponsoring this film.
Spanning his years as a Formula One racing driver from 1984 to his untimely death a decade later, Senna explores the life and work of the triple world champion, his physical and spiritual achievements on the track, his quest for perfection and the mythical status he has since attained. Winner of the 2011 Los Angeles Film Festival and 2011 Sundance Film Festival Audience Awards and Most Popular Documentary 2011 Melbourne International Film Festival; even for filmgoers who aren’t racing fans, Senna offers heart-pounding thrills – and heartbreaking emotion.
Showtime is 7 p.m., Thursday, November 3 at the Columbia Theatre. Tickets are available at Lotus Books and Alpine Toyota and at the door.
