Steamboat chuggin’ strong along the Columbia
The second annual Steamboat Mountain Music Festival had already surpassed first year numbers by 3 p.m., Saturday, July 6.
About 500 people had already purchased tickets and the day was just getting going as e-KNOW toured the Edgewater Elementary School playfield, once again bathed in sunshine – the music Gods smiling down.
The all-genre music festival was comprised of 40% headliners and 60% local musicians, raising money for musical education in the Windermere Valley. Along with valley musicians, talent also arrived from Fernie and Cranbrook.
Keep on chuggin’ along Steamboat – you’re fitting just right into this region’s musical landscape.
And the tunes were awesome!
