The fine line between perfectionism and obsession

Pilot.co.Pilot is a theatre company committed to creating original work that reflects the audacity of the human spirit.

By redefining the performance experience through audience interaction, music and unconventional characterizations, it’s productions break through the audience/ performer bubble to reveal the dazzle behind the mundane and bring catharsis through exposing the heart beneath the hilarity.

Join us as they visit The Arts Station on February 4 when they bring DECK: How I Instigated Then Overcame an Existential Crisis Through Home Improvement.

Join Lucas Myers as he examines the fine line between perfectionism and obsession and why a piece of 2×6 lumber is not really two inches by six inches. Not even close. DECK stars Clive, a meticulous single parent of two who has been forced to reassess his future after taking losses in the recession. He embraces a new start in a small town but his attempts at self-sufficiency are high-jacked by a bad house buy and he is forced to try his hand at home improvement. DECK is a darkly hilarious take on the modern milieu of a small town, semi-urban environment.  For more, go to www.pilotcopilot.com.

Please note: this performance is not suitable for children as it involves power tools, physics and partial nudity.
