The gates are open; the Wapiti is loose!
The gates are now open and Canada’s coolest musical gathering, the Wapiti Music Festival, is underway at Fernie’s Annex Parik.
The gate opened this evening (August 10) at 6 p.m., the beverage garden at 6:30 and the first act, Stellar Radio Choir takes to the stage at 7 p.m. The final act of the evening, The British Columbians, takes to the stage at 9:45 p.m.
Fun and music in one of the most spectacular music festival settings imaginable begins anew Saturday at 11 a.m. when the gates open.
Saturday’s headline act, Toronto’s Born Ruffians (BornRuffians.com), will start playing about 7:45 p.m.
