Tomorrow is deadline for Collaborative Art project
Have you got your leaf into the Fernie Art Station?
The Art Station’s deadline for submission to their Collaborative Tree project is tomorrow, Oct. 14.
“We will be creating a tree and we want everyone living in Fernie to make a leaf to contribute to the creation of this tree,” said project coordinator Jodi Parker.
The mediums for the leaves are many, from stitching, felt, paint, glue, crochet, sculpture, mixed media, plastic, recyclables and more – with the submitting artists bearing in mind the tree will be located outside.
The tree will be unveiled at 6 p.m., at The Arts Station, on Nov. 10.
