CDAC Presents: The 2015 Youth Art Exhibition
This May, the Cranbrook and District Arts Council (CDAC) is very excited to present the 2015 Annual Youth Art Exhibition. This show features work, from local youth artists aged 13-years plus, in various mediums. The artwork will decorate the Gallery from Tuesday May 5 to Friday May 29.
The 2015 Youth Art Reception / Awards Gala Night
The reception for Youth Arts Exhibition will be held on Thursday May 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the CDAC Gallery. A ‘meet and greet’ with the local youth artists, music, refreshments and the awards ceremony for the top 3 pieces entered into the show and a Peoples’ Choice Category. Cash prizes for awards.
Tanya Lipscomb with guest Maddi Keiver In-House Gallery Concert
On Saturday, May 9 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., the CDAC in association with Lazy Crow Productions, proudly present Tanya Lipscomb (pictured above). She is an award winning singer/songwriter from Vernon, and whether you are into blues, folk, rock or country she will have it covered. Cranbrook’s own Maddi Keiver, a very talented singer/songwriter, will be opening the show for Tanya.
Admission is by donation. Tanya will have CDs for sale following her performance. Doors open 7 p.m. Show starts 7:30 p.m.
