Joey Hoechsmann of the Bedroom Furniture Galleries is the perfect gentleman to (l-r) Lydia Wright (Interior Health Manager Critical Care), Donna Grainger (EKFH Executive Director) and Jeannie Kambeitz (Patient Care Coordinator ER/ICU) while demonstrating features of the new La-Z-Boy recliners being delivered and donated to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health for the East Kootenay Regional Hospital Emergency Department.

The new leather-clad chairs (infection control approved) will provide comfort to patients who are receiving outpatient procedures (i.e. IV antibiotics, vital signs assessment, etc.) while in the emergency department leaving necessary beds open for more urgent trauma cases.
