$562 in Tim Hortons Smile Cookies for A Clear View

Community support never tasted so good! New residents to the Columbia Valley, Kurt and Bethany Taylor are also the new owners of the Tim Hortons Invermere franchise.  The two entrepreneurs aren’t taking any time showing their commitment behind charitable causes with a recent donation of $562 from the Tim Hortons Annual Smile Cookie fundraiser being sent to East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s A Clear View ~ digital mammography campaign.

“We are thrilled to be associated with Tim Hortons and the Smile Cookie Campaign and were pleased to have the opportunity to support the fundraising for the A Clear View Campaign.  We are really looking forward to growing our business and learning more about our community I think that’s something we can all smile about,” explained Kurt Taylor.

The proceeds from the Invermere campaign will benefit the A Clear View – digital mammography campaign to bring a digital stereotactic mammography unit to the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

Nationally, Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners support more than 345 local charities through the annual Smile Cookie Fundraiser.  In 2010, the campaign raised $3.1 million to help make a true difference in the communities where Tim Hortons operates.

East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s mission is to provide funding to the East Kootenay Regional Hospital and other community health care facilities in meeting the needs of the region.
