Beverages and Business Cards returns
The Kimberley Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting special monthly meetings called Beverages and Business Cards, for members and guests and to introduce new members.
The launch event of the new season was held Thursday, Sept. 20 at Centre 64.
Along with providing business people chances to meet and exchange business cards, over a friendly beverage, the events are always lavishly catered. Add in the grand, colourful venue of Centre 64, and it made for a pleasant two-hours. Bolstering the colour of the event was the presentation of Fernie artist Laura Nelson’s breath-taking work (pictured above) in the main gallery.
The events also provide opportunities for the chamber executive to provide updates to members, let new members say “hello,” and learn more about the host businesses/organizations.
The next Beverages and Business Cards event is Thursday, Oct. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Core Fusion Technologies.
