Chamber hosting RDEK directors at luncheon
Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce members and residents are being given a chance to catch up on what is happening in the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Thursday (Jan. 16) when local board directors will be on hand at a member’s luncheon.
All members are invited to attend the luncheon, as well as non-members, which will be the first of 2014.
Columbia Valley RDEK directors will be on hand to outline regional board priorities for 2014 and take members’ questions.
The chamber will be asking the directors specifically to comment on economic development initiatives and other initiatives that may have a direct impact on business in the valley.
Members pay $15 for the luncheon while non-members pay $20 at the door.
The luncheon runs from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce at 651 Hwy 93/95 (the crossroads).
