Chambers meet at airport shindig
The Pickled Bean Café at Canadian Rockies International Airport was the site for a joint chamber of commerce gathering Oct. 17.
Dozens of members of the Cranbrook and District and Kimberley and District Chambers of Commerce gathered in the café to catch up, swap business cards, make contacts and have a few laughs.
Airport manager Tristen Chernove updated business leaders on operations and discussed ongoing efforts to encourage West-Jet to fly into the region, as well as provided an update on Integra Air’s eventual return once newer, larger aircraft are secured.
