Great deals and big smiles make Black Friday
The Cranbrook and District Chamber of Commerce’s second annual Black Friday was a busy, festive and fun day, Nov. 16.
Dozens of downtown, Cranbrook Street/Highway 3/95 and Tamarack Mall businesses, from retail to home renovations to auto sales, took part in the sales event, which is seen as a launch to the Christmas shopping season.
From all accounts, businesses were busier than usual, with some experiencing marked increases.
The following images are a sample of what was going on during Friday afternoon.

Don’t forget, the Cranbrook Farmers’ Market returns inside the old Super-Valu store location on Baker Street on Friday, Nov. 30 from 5 to 9 p.m., making an excellent stopover during and after the Santa Claus Parade, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.
