During the holiday break, East Kootenay Foundation for Health received two wonderful donations through its Starlite Campaign.

The Knights of Columbus #8631 dropped in on December 23 to bring some delicious holiday baking and special treats for patients and their caregivers in the psychiatry unit.

And the Wal-mart Charity Committee, managers and staff (pictured above) presented EKFH with an additional $1,000 in financial support for the East Kootenay Regional Hospital Pediatric Toy Closet. The funds will be used to purchase toys and items throughout the year to keep the toy closet stocked for children who are patients in the any department in the hospital.
